Uber Just Made a Big Move to Bring Self-Driving Cars Everywhere

Uber isn’t developing its own self-driving tech. Instead, it’s assembling an international alliance with the companies that already have it. Over the past two weeks, it announced three new partnerships with top Chinese robotaxi companies: WeRide, Pony.ai, and Momenta. Each one is focused on a different region, but the goal is the same: make robotaxis a global reality using Uber’s ride-hailing infrastructure.
